Burning Blu-ray Disc photo slideshow with Photo DVD Maker
Blu-ray Disc (BD) is the next-generation optical disc format. Blu-ray was developed to enable recording, rewriting and playback of high-definition video (HD). The format offers more than five times the storage capacity of traditional DVDs and can hold up to 25GB on a single-layer disc and 50GB on a dual-layer disc.
Now you can make Blu-ray photo slideshows with Photo DVD Maker.
Note: For the time being, Photo DVD Maker can only export HD videos in Blu-ray Disc folder. You may need third-party burning program with Blu-ray support to burn the output folder to Blu-ray Disc.
We are working on the Blu-ray burning feature now. You will be able to burn your photo slideshows to Blu-ray Disc directly from Photo DVD Maker.
Why do you need to create Blu-ray Disc with ImgBurn?
Blu-ray is the new format of video media. It provides a crystal clear picture and audio that was not available on the basic DVD format.
We have added Blu-ray support to Photo DVD Maker since version 8.04. Now you can make Blu-ray photo slideshows with Photo DVD Maker. For the time being, Photo DVD Maker can only export HD videos in Blu-ray Disc folder. You may need third-party burning program——ImgBurn with Blu-ray support to burn the output folder to Blu-ray Disc.
How to create Blu-ray Disc with ImgBurn?
Please follow the steps below to burn the output folder to a Blu-ray disc by ImgBurn.
1. Official download and installation.
We have added Blu-ray support to Photo DVD Maker since version 8.04. After the output folder of Blu-ray Disc is completed, you can use IMGBurn to create a Blu-ray Disc for PC and Blu-ray player. IMGBurn is a free program and you can download it from http://www.imgburn.com.
2. Step 1: Launch ImgBurn and click the 'Write files/folders to disc' button.
You should now see a screen like this:
Step 2: Click the 'Browse for a source folder...' button and add both "BDMV" folder and "CERTIFICATE" folder.
When that's done your source box should look something like this...
3. Click Options tab in the right panel, set "File System" to "UDF" and set "UDF Revision" to "2.5".
4. Insert a Blu-ray disc and select the burner in Destination list.
5. When device is ready, click Build button. The program will then burn your files to the disc.
